Life is so precious

I heard 3 stories that make my gut twist and I still feel sad and at the same time I count my blessings and praise the Lord for giving me a normal & healthy son.

1st story: She planed for a baby and she got pregnant for 6 weeks before she went to see gynae but the gynae landed her with a new “Your baby do not have heart beat. Your baby needs to be removed”.

2nd story: Home pregnancy tested positive but when the gynae did an ultrasound, the baby was not found. Followed by a blood test, confirmed she was pregnant. When she was on a monthly checkup when she was 3 months pregnant, the gynae landed her with a very bad news – the baby was not developed probably.

She went for a second opinion, this gynae told her, the baby’s brain contain water, the legs are abnormal and organs were grown externally. Even though the baby still got heart beat but need to be removed.

3rd story: She was pregnant for 4 months and on her monthly checkup, her gynae told her, the baby had no heart beat (why baby out of sudden no heart beat – reason was unknown); as a result baby need to removed. She had to go through normal delivery by induce to have the baby removed.

There are many unlucky event happen and sometime it meant to be happen, so that we shall learn patient, perseverance, hope, faith and love.

I really hope they stay strong; after a painful lost. I hope they continue to have hope and faith. I do believe everything happen for a reason and we might not know why just yet, maybe we will later.

Giving birth to a new life is a wonderful & great experience. Educate & nurture them are another. We always get up & down in our life – like Forest Gump said “Life is like a box of chocolate, we would not know what we will get.” Bitter & sweet experiences are part of life regardless we like it or not. Everyone will go through them; it is part of growing up process.

Life is so precious; treasure them while you still can.
